About this speaker

Amanda Jones has nine years of experience in the water industry and is a Project Manager at Tucson Water, where she is managing the expansion of the asset management system. Jones is a trustee-at-large on the AZWater Board of Directors and co-chair of the AZWater Customer Service Professionals and Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion Committees. She is also active at a national level, including Secretary for the Customer Service Committee and a member of the Diversity and Member Inclusion Committee for the American Water Works Association. She was awarded the 2020 Arizona Water Young Professional of the Year and one of 2021 of the 5 under 35 Outstanding Young Professionals by the American Water Works Association and was in the first cohort of the Duke University Water Innovation Leadership Development Program. Amanda is also the founder of Womxn in Water, a professional development organization for all that identify as a woman in the water industry. She holds Bachelors and Masters degrees from the University of Arizona.
